Following the friendly match between R.W.Bell and Vale of Atholl FC hosted in 2014, it has eagerly been anticipated since our loss that we would get a chance to redeem ourselves on the football pitch.
Unlike 2014 when we played in a thunder storm with the rain pouring down, the evening was dry and the sun even made an appearance making for a delightful setting. There was a good turnout of supporters.
Both teams played well both upfront and also defence however the end result was much the same as last years with R.W.Bell being picked at the post despite their early advantage. Vale of Atholl were the triumphant victors.
Following the football everyone was invited to McKays to replenish their energy supplies and to quench their thirst.As always R.W.Bell remain undeterred and are more than game for a rematch in 2016.
