The first ever R.W.Bell golf competition happened on Friday evening hosted at Blair Atholl Golf Club. Thankfully the day and weather were exceptionally good and with many keen and practising golfers within the company there was a good turnout of 5 teams and also spectaters. Split into teams of 4 persons the competition was judged by best shots round the course by each player to make par – stiff competition and close results by all teams resulted in a sudden death play-off to decide the competition winners at the 18th green.
Following golf all players and non-players were warmly welcomed to the clubhouse terrace for drinks and to admire the array of BBQ food being cooked by Blair Atholl Golf Club chefs. Dinner was held inside and prize giving commenced. The evening was capped off with several members of RWB making it back to Pitlochry to strut their stuff on the dancefloor.
